But after a few snaps of the camera, she started cracking smile for us. Good thing, because getting your picture with the Easter bunny is EXPENSIVE. But first timers like us (a.k.a SUCKERS) will pay. Anything for an only child, right?
This morning, Charlotte opened her Easter basket (donated by G & G Sheppard). It was full of hair bows, food pouches and the spoon that screws on them. I am really excited to try this new world of food. It has begun a little, but there is still so much more for me to learn about!! G & G Sheppard and Aunt Robyn also gave her a singing stuffed bunny and gave us some chocolate bunnies! Thank you!

Last night, Josh and I attended "Savior of the World" put on by the Anaheim Stake. My aunt Robyn was in the choir and we thought it would be a great way to get into the Easter spirit. I feel like so many times, I just get caught up in the chocolate and bunnies of Easter and don't take time to reflect on why we really celebrate the holiday. It was an amazing performance! I really felt the spirit throughout the production and have a strong testimony that Jesus Christ is our Savior. That through Him, we can return to live with our Heavenly Father and be an eternal family. I am grateful for the opportunity to go watch this play. Thank you G & G Sheppard for watching Charlotte for us as well!
Tonight we went over to Jim and Janice's for dessert with the Neilson's. It's getting very different everytime we get together. Cousins live all over the place, you never know who's going to show up. It was a fun night seeing everyone that did show up!
