One Month and Still Going Strong

Today is the one month anniversary of when we tied the knot. Some things that I have learned being married are...

You have to adjust to living with another person and all their habits.
Trying to stay on one side of your bed.
A clean home is a happy home.
The new TV might not go where you want it too...and it's ok.
Men shouldn't do laundry ;)
I go to sleep a lot earlier than while we were dating...the other night I fell asleep at 9:30!
The George Foreman is the best invention ever created!
Finances are a main topic of conversation.
Bookshelves are for books...not decorations.
Josh is a lot more handy than he made me believe while we were dating.
Wards with babies are so distracting...I have the bug, but nothing is going to happen for a LONG TIME.
Josh will eat anything I cook...he's such a good sport.
I learn something new about Josh almost everyday that I didn't know before we got married...but at the same time, I know him so well it's scary.

I love being married to Josh and having my best friend with me all the time. He is the most patient, loving person on the face of the earth. He is everything I want in a companion. I love him with all my heart and can't wait for many more months of marriage to come. Everyday is a new journey with unexpected surprises. I am so glad he got down on one knee one freezing, cold, February night in Park City and asked me to marry him. What a blessing he has been in my life. I love you honey bunny!

Happy Birthday to....ME!!

Today Josh and I took my birthday money up to the Tanger Outlets in Park City and went CRAZY! I spent the most time (and money) in my favorite store...
then to get an amazing purse and matching wallet at...
Of course we had to stop off and get some essentials at...

After a great shopping experience, we went up to the Alpine Slide. It was way too cold to go all the way up the mountain and slide down. We are going to come back and do a whole day on the mountain when it gets warmer. If anyone wants to come, let us know and we can plan a time. Then we came home and my cousin, Courtney (who is in town for the weekend) came over and we are currently watching the Laker vs. Suns game. AND, she's our first visitor!!!!!

I am very much looking forward to the rest of the weekend...especially our BBQ on Monday. If you don't have plans, come over at 4:00...and bring your own meat! I can't wait to see Josh put together our little grill that we bought at Target. Thanks Target gift cards!!!

The Dress

I love my dress. Ok...I am obsessed with my dress. But it's time. Yes already. We have no where to hang it in our condo, it's definitely in the way. Anyone want it? I am selling it for $400 OBO. Please spread the word.

The Fun Part...

We were fortunate enough to go on a wonderful Honeymoon to the Eastern Caribbean via Royal Caribbean cruise line. It was fantastic. We didn't have to do anything for a whole week. After planning a wedding for the past three months, all you want to do is relax. We went to three ports:
In St. Maarten we went snorkeling...

In San Juan, Puerto Rico we did the zip-line...

Labadee, Haiti, well we just walked around and had fun!

We also enjoyed Formal night, having fun around the boat, meeting people from all over the world, the shows, trivia games (which we never won), and did a whole lot of eating...probably every hour! Overall, it was a great trip and we are so excited to start our lives together.

Being married is so great...waking up with your best friend every morning, always having someone to hang out with and tell your secrets too...it's awesome!!! Love you Josh!
