Today was a first for me...and Charlotte! We went apple picking up in the North Carolina mountains! We were invited to go with some of our new friends and I'm so glad we had a free Saturday to join! We were all a little surprised how warm the temperature was and how many people were there, but it was fun nonetheless.
We got in line for the "best" donuts. We waited about 40 minutes and I have to say, they were GREAT! They were made with apples and baked fresh. We got two dozen and let's just say, half are gone already :)
Once everyone got to the apple orchard, we chit-chatted for a bit and then went on our way to pick some apples. It turned more into a terrific photo opp for our little family, especially Charlotte. But it was so fun to be outside in the most gorgeous scenery. Thank you to the Barkers for getting us together!
