Twice a year, the world has the amazing opportunity to hear from the leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. How lucky are we?? Today we spent the morning listening to various speakers. As I was listening to their gentle words, I thought to myself, "How simple is the gospel? Even if you are not a member of the church, you could easily turn this on and listen and understand it all." The church is so simple. The Book of Mormon is simple. All of the principles and doctrines of the Gospel are simple. There is no grey area. I love being a member of this church.
We are looking forward to the rest of the day with Kasey and Preston, one more conference session, and a BBQ.
Yesterday, Megan Gubler (Sister McArthur) and her cute little family stopped by on their way out of Utah. It was so fun to see them. I wish we would have got a picture!!
Last night, all the girls went out to La Jolla Groves, while the men enjoyed their Priesthood session. It was so fun. Afterward, half of the girls went shopping (where the mall was PACKED) and then joined up with the men for Cold Stone. It was such an enjoyable evening. Thanks Jordan for getting us all together.
